Bio

The name says it all; these four attractive, young girls are on a mission to promote entertainment through "Love, Peace and Education". Over the last two years, IQ has made a name for themselves in their Massachusetts community, through promoting a positive message, "that you can achieve your dreams, study hard and have fun doing it."
Academically, each member maintains an excellent average, is taking high honor courses, participating in sports, acting, dancing, and modeling. The total image of the group is wholesome, innocent, positive and educationally based. But most importantly IQ wants to let kids know, "don't be a fool, it's cool to be down with school". They are smart, youthful, energetic, and yet responsible and diligently hardworking. They are four (4) intelligent ladies, hence the name IQ.

It all started with a school talent show. Sadiea and sister Nyla asked their father to compose a few songs they could perform. The song "School" was born and the girls did their first live appearance.
The excitement and positive response from their peers was overwhelming. Their musical blend of R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, combining singing, rapping and
of course dancing is youthful and innocent. It inspired the sisters to continue their new hobby and add two new members to the concept. Gicelle and Mikayla came aboard and IQ was born.

Let's meet IQ!

Sadiea , 16, (Rapper, Vocalist), loves music, acting, and is quite an athlete. She is a tri-star athlete, with emphasis in basketball, cross-country and track & field. A few tops Division 1 and 2 schools in the country are presently recruiting her. Her academic focus is in mathematics and biochemistry.

Nyla , 15 (Rapper, Vocalist, Choreographer), recently crowned in July 2005 Miss Junior Teen Massachusetts for National American Miss. She
loves poetry, music, dancing, modeling, running and has dreams of becoming a fashion designer.

Mikayla , 15, (Lead Singer, Vocalist) loves singing, dancing, musical theatre, acting, gymnastics and has interest in becoming an architect one day. Mikayla participates in many musical plays, which display her sweet as sugar voice and her acting talents.

Gicelle , 16, (Vocalist, Choreographer), enjoys singing, reading, running, acting, modeling, dancing, and is interested in becoming a lawyer and studying criminal justice.

IQ has performed in Boston, New York and Hollywood to promote the release of their EP, "It's Like That", initially released on Apple iTunes in May, 2005. On New Year's Eve 2005 they performed at the Disney Jingle Jam in Boston with B5, Everlife and Jada to share a few more of their songs from their upcoming release in July 2006 by WPE Music, LLC
through Treacherous Records & Bungalo/Universal.

In addition to their repertoire, IQ hosted a TV show, TKO (The Kid's Office) Report produced at the Comcast Studios in Framingham, Massachusetts. It allowed them to demonstrate their broad interests and to show their diverse abilities. They've interviewed Musicians, Authors, Government Officials, Community Leaders, Athletes,
Entertainment Professionals and Mrs. USA on the show. They had the opportunity to spend time in the field with "The Four Time Heavy Weight
Champion" Evander Holyfield and the Founder of The MBC Cable Network, Mr. Willie Gary. Due to their image and talents, these young girls have been invited to submit a pilot program for airing in the 25 million homes on the MBC Cable Network. They also had discussions with, John Hancock, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, The
Women's Opportunity Network, and The Roxbury Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) to gain support for IQ in their endeavor to spread the
importance of education to kids.
