Trey Banks was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 1st 1986, this young man was destined to do a work for the Lord on an international platform. The word versatile comes to mind when Trey’s music is heard. He is a viper to demonic spirits with a poison even Satan can't handle, his music personifies real hip hop and jazz to the industry in need of more diversity. Trey has most times been portrayed as peculiar, but that distinction has turned out to be a good thing. At the young age of seventeen he decided to take on a music career. He met his wife Gina Thompson in the midst of his ministry with the group formerly known as "Wyze," soon after they were married on March 18th 2006. Together, they have two beautiful children, daughter Talayla Gilroy, son Tyrell Banks, and one on the way. IQ’s music took off about three months after the marriage, so after three years of working in group “Wyze” with members Ghost, and Anti-Social he took on a solo step to move the music in a different arena. He has more than the talent to sustain his music, but he also has the spirit leading him which makes a world of difference. Trey aka IQ has accomplished a few things to date as an signed artist. His work is featured on Gospel Fresh television on MY20 Network and WFBR 1590 with Troy Edwards The Apostle and WFBR's Deacon Kay. IQ has ministered in numerous places, in and out of prisons and churches and neighborhoods. This MC takes the Gospel to the streets with excellence. IQ writes his own music and is a genuine producer, playing the Piano, drums and congas at his church "First Love" as the minister of music. This young man is destined for greatness and is being lead by God in an awesome way.
