SOLOMONIX – The majestic voice, melody and lyrics of Solomon ‘Sol’ Heke, produced and arranged by Iron Will and backed live by the Iron Hammers rhythm section is a mix of roots reggae, soul and love that has moved audiences all over New Zealand.

Solomon Heke originally started the group in 2000 while living in the Bay Of Plenty.
With a considerable back catalogue of self composed songs, based on his experiences, faith in God and the economical situation of under-privileged people in NZ and all over the world, his aim is to teach a healing message of liberation, power, direction and redemption presented with his unique heartfelt warm sound and melodies.

When the original five members of the band went their separate ways, Sol moved to Auckland where he was introduced to William IRON WILL Brown by one John Greet, managing director of Kfm Radio.

After becoming good friends and writing some strong material together, Solomon and Will decided to take it to the world producing the body of work on their debut album Benediction. Some tunes from this debut release have been featured on international releases – the Real’n’Raw documentary and soundtrack alongside a host of New Zealand, Jamaican and U.S artists - receiving great reactions with much feedback and requests for the album to be released. On itunes they are among the top hitters for single sales.

Now formed with the backing band Iron Hammers, SOLOMONIX are all geared up to hit the scene hard with an epic and tight live show. They will also be appearing with the One Foundation Sound System featuring other artists, working with Iron Will - Silva Emcee, Jah Red Lion, Ras Stone, Tuffy Culture and many more.

Having already played at numerous shows ( Splore, The Grey Lynn and Fejoa Festivals, Pasifika, One Foundation, 12 Tribes of Israel functions and bar and club events in Auckland and Wellington), Solomonix are ready to present their music to New Zealand and all over the world with a captivating live performance and a beautifully composed debut album Benediction, which contains the singles We A Lion and What Is Right.
