Biography

Sylvester Noel Bailey Brown popularly known as Ironhead, was born in the parish of St.Catherine, on the beautiful island of Jamaica home of the impulsive reggae beat and reggae’s greatest artists.

Often referred to by most people as The boy with the golden throat -- Ironhead, started playing drums at the tender age of 6. Ironhead was destined to become an artist, as his attributes sprung from a family which was musically inclined this, coupled with the inspiration he got from his local church choir ignited his passion to sing.

By the age of 16 Ironhead was recognized as a professional singer of Reggae, Pop and Funk. He started with the 35 Express Band which was managed by the producer Roy Cook. The young and talented musician admired the drummer and arranger of renowned reggae band Black Uhuru and Sly Dunbar.

( In ----insert date) Ironhead together with his brother David and coleagues formed, with great enthusiasm, The Head Corner Stone Band. During that time the band arranged and produced a variety of songs. Ironhead also played on the North coast of Jamaica with the group Front Page Band, the band recorded original titles with George Henry.

During the last ten years, many of the natives from his homeland have not been fortunate to hear “the boy with the golden voice blessed by God” as his career took him to Mexico where he has performed in many famous tourist destinations and popular places in and around Cancún Mexico. His performances led him to be the closing act on the world famous Festival International Selvantino in Mexico.

Ironhead is presently arranging and producing his new CD which consists of a mixture of reggae, dance and latin mix.

MY HEART

Written By: SYLVESTER NOEL BAILEY

My Heart
By Sylvester Noel Bailey

Intro Should I stay or should I go, should I stay wooo

Chorus My heart is willing but I can’t get the feeling
My heart says go but I won’t go
My heart keep striking, but I keep on fighting
My heart says go but I won’t go

Verse 1 Sometimes I wonder why this is happening to me
After all the time has past is this to be
Cause I told myself there’s no looking back
Cause night and day baby you keep on haunting me

Chorus My heart is willing but I can’t get the feeling
My heart says go but I won’t go
My heart keep striking, but I keep on fighting
My heart says go but I won’t go

Verse 2 Oh I feel Like I need a defrag
Cause my whole system is really clogged
But there’s no way I could erase you from my memory
Baby can’t you see you keep on haunting me

Chorus My heart is willing but I can’t get the feeling
My heart says go but I won’t go
My heart keep striking, but I keep on fighting
My heart says go but I won’t go

Verse 3 I know she’s trying very hard to get next to me
By any means necessary
But the way is dark I really can’t see
It seems like this is the way it aught to be

Intro Should I stay or should I go, should I stay wooo

Verse 4 Cause I think I should just keep on sticking to my track
And don’t even think about looking back
Cause I should be the man I always want to be
Cause I don’t want to do something and later I am sorry

Chorus My heart is willing but I can’t get the feeling
My heart says go but I won’t go
My heart keep striking, but I keep on fighting
My heart says go but I won’t go
Chorus My heart is willing but I can’t get the feeling
My heart says go but I won’t go
My heart keep striking, but I keep on fighting
My heart says go but I won’t go
