"Soaring high to touch the human soul."

"Ironwood Rain songs evoke a feeling of America returning to freedom, for only in freedom would such talent emerge unrestrained. One cannot help but notice the fine voices and lyrics accompanied by the skillful tones of violin and guitar. The Ironwood Rain CD Burn the Ships is in its presentation a unique product soaring high to touch the human soul. Thank you for the fine gift of music! " Lola Toth (Fan Letter)

Have spent much time listening to the group's songs this weekend...many several times. Each of you so individually talented...vocals soothingly blend, lyrics creative/poetic. Been an avid KBCO'er 27yrs....no doubt you will be doing Studio C. *wink* Keep up the AWESOME work...your music is what we want to hear. - Julie Michael (Fan Letter) - Fan letter

"Memorable doesn't do it justice"

"Seldom will you encounter a collection of songs that squeeze every ounce of honesty from their lyrics, while the music whisks listeners away on a voyage of both fantasy and self-revelation. Harry Chapin's music always delivered in this regard, and Ironwood Rain's Burn the Ships places the Colorado-based band in that same artistic groove. Listening to Ironwood Rain's delicious slice of life, I'm reminded of a favorite saying of an old Army buddy, George Sparks. Born and raised in the Ozarks of Missouri, whenever he'd encounter something quite unusual and unexpected he'd remark, 'what a piece of work!' Mostly it was meant to convey bemusement. Occasionally it was reserved for high praise. Exactly how George would feel about Burn The Ships. Memorable doesn't do it justice. "

"Indie-Music chimes in on IR!"

"What catches me most about Ironwood Rain is the lovely use of acoustic guitars & classy vocals. These songs are sophisticated musically and lyrically, yet there is always still a hook to keep your attention."

"Great stuff for TV and movies!"

Really good songs; vocal melodies and harmonies; great musical tones and melodies. I think this stuff could work great in the right movies or TV shows. - Out of Step Entertainment
