Isaac Rehberg

An ecclectic mix of vocal/acoustic music with folk, blues, rock, and Hebraic roots. Simplicity with fun is the name of the game. Think of it as Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan meet Schlomo Carlebach

The first thing I bought with my first paycheck from my first job was a 4-track recording console. It seems that most of my life has been spent experimenting with recording my own music.

After literally years of promising friends and family an album of original music, it's finally here! Caffeine & Sanctuary is a collection of live tracks recorded in my living room on a Tascam 2488. As much as I love rockin' out to blues on my Strat, most folks know my music from worship or coffeehouse jams on my acoustic. Caffeine & Sanctuary represents original music from both of these settings. Half of the songs are from the biblical or liturgical texts. The other half are 100% original. Sometimes the text says it best; sometimes the heart does.

Musical Influences (the most important ones, anyway):
Townes Van Zandt
Bob Dylan
Schlomo Carlebach
Early Petra
John Mayer
Eric Clapton
Led Zeppilin
Johnny Cash
