Bio
Isaiah Gripper was born in Queens, New York. He's an actor, worship leader, singer, and songwriter. He releases his music independently. He first started releasing mix tapes consisting of pop and hip-hop music and remixes with his own lyrics and some of his own original songs. He released two mix tapes, one in October 2011, and the other in the Summer of 2012. Isaiah later had them removed off the internet because of his decision to change the direction he wanted to go with music. In 2013, he started writing and producing music for his new direction of music. The first single he released was "Asylum" featuring Alex Goff in January. The track was a response to a feud he had with another hip-hop artist in December 2012. Later that year he decided to quit making music due to comparisons to other artists, but was quickly talked out of it by peers. With his return to music, he finished and released his second single, "Million Stars" featuring Jonna Lee in September 2013. He described his new direction of music as "the transition from pop music to electronic music" and insulted the thought of even doing pop music, via his twitter account. His new mixtape was due sometime in the Summer of 2013, but was pushed back to late 2014 because of his transition, schedule, new ideas, production failures, and his want to rewrite some of the tracks. Isaiah plans on taking this new mixtape seriously and making sure that he works with the right people for this tape. After he releases this mixtape he confirmed that it will be his last "secular" mixtape. Isaiah has confirmed via twitter that he trashed all the tracks recorded for the upcoming mixtape, "Odd Child" because he change his mind on who wanted to be as an artist, and he didn't want to be seen as what the mixtape portrayed him as. Isaiah later regretting his decision to do away with the mixtape in its entirety, wishing that some of the tracks would have been released for fun. During that time he has written, recorded, and released songs with other artists as a "Singer/Songwriter." He has released his first official solo single called, "Rescue Me" featuring Jameil Walls and Patt Heezy. The track was left as an unfinished demo recorded in May 2011, and later official released April 2014. A few months later he released two other collaborative singles with singer, Leanne Dekrey, and Bekah Collins. He released a live recording of a song called, "Close" which he co-wrote for a competition called "Fine Arts Festival." A few months after that he released another collaborative single with singer Bekah Collins, called "NEW" which is spoken to be the first single off their upcoming EP due late 2015. Isaiah is currently working on collaborative work and solo work.
