"Isak Bosman Shines"

Singer/songwriter Isak Bosman shines in his newly released first album. 'You're The One' was produced in Motherwell, Scotland by Sandy Jones and Graham Duffin (Wet Wet Wet) and Bosman certainly delivers. Bosman is clearly a worship leader with an intuitive grasp of catchy hooks and aided by multi-textured accompaniments the listener is soon connecting with the songsmith. 'You're The One' starts particularly well with the upbeat "You Are God" which immediately grabs the listener and "Giving It All" proves to be another highlight. A cover of the popular Matt Redman song "Let My Words Be Few" could have been a mistake but Isak gives it a fresh reading and equally on Steve Hindalong's "God Of Wonders" Bosman produces a fresh new sound through his interpretation. Equally impressive are Bosman's own songs like "I Will Worship" and "You're The One". This was an excellent album which exudes joyful worship. I for one will wait in anticipation to hear Bosman's future work. - Cross Rhythms

Bio

Young, fresh and talented Singer/Songwriter, Isak Bosman is the newest sound coming out of Christian music! Just out of the recording studio Bosman is already creating impact with his new album ‘You’re the one.’

‘You’re the one’, is not just another album on the shelf, rather it aims to impact, inspire and transform people beyond cultures and nations.
Although most of his tracks fall into the category of rock/pop genre, the album has a contemporary feel to it opening it up to all age groups.

Born in South Africa, Isak now lives in Scotland with his wife Kirsty as he embarks on a new journey whilst planted in God’s house.

Bosman teamed up with the likes of Graham Duffin and Sandy Jones, triple platinum selling guitarist and producers of Wet Wet Wet to capture this extraordinary result.

Starting of with upbeat ‘You are God’ was a prefect statement to sum up what the album is all about. ‘God is everything I stand for and every reason why I do what I do, says Isak, ‘putting God first was only right.’

“It is my passion to make music that globally changes the way people worship and to inspire them to become the difference they dream to see,” says Bosman.

This heart certainly comes clear in tracks such as “Giving it all” and “Let us rise”. Where “Giving it all” challenges us to cost the cost and do whatever it takes. “For it is when we lay down our own lives God makes our dreams come true.” “Let us rise” encourages us to lift our level in terms of life, making a difference and becoming bigger people inside!

Bosman’s own passion for God and his love for worship lead him to leave his home back in 2004 to take up a placement at Hillsong College, Australia. Within a month of joining college, Isak joined the Church worship team. An experience he recalls “fuelled his passion to create excellent Christian music.”

In 2004 he flew out of Australia making his way to United Kingdom picking up the role of worship pastor, in a vibrant Church in Glasgow.

His journey has become a great testimony to the God he writes of through songs like ‘You are the one’ and ‘You are God‘. Sometimes life can seem so big and out of our control, this song reminds us of how big and in charge God really is.

Also featuring on the album are new versions of Matt Redman song “Let My Words Be Few” and Steve Hindalong's “God Of Wonders”.

After touring South Africa earlier in the year, he now plans to release the album in America. Already he has tour dates lined up across America which will kick start in the beginning of 2008.

Worship is for everyone, it’s a lifestyle and it’s an act of acknowledging God. Bosman hopes his music will help church groups, individuals live a life of praise at a new level. “I don’t want to just make music that listens well, but music that moves people beyond their circumstances through encountering God in a fresh way.”
