Bio
2009 CRMA nominated artist iSH has deep musical roots through his family. His father Ras Lee was of Jamaican decent and was nominated for Best Reggae Song at the 1986 Juno Awards for "Moonlight Lover". iSh spent much of his childhood in Jamaica and the neighbouring Cayman Islands influenced by the local music scene. Following high school, Ish decided
to put his love for music into practice by moving to New York City to attend the prestigious
American Academy of Dramatic Arts. It was there that Ish expanded his artistic horizons by appearing in TV shows, commercials, movies and music videos.
Since moving back to Toronto iSh has spread his wings artistically and is currently finishing up both a mixtape and his first full length album as well as appearing in TV shows like "The Border" and "Soul. iSH' first radio single "Fallin' In Love With You" played on radio stations across the country including CHR Stations in Toronto, Edmonton, Halifax and Winnipeg. In 2010 the stage is set for iSH to finally make the impact he has worked so hard to earn.
