Bio
Ishtaar started in the 1996 (known as Ishtar or motherishtar), played several gigs around Ireland and mostly in Dublin (Eamonn Dorans, The Hub, Temple Bar Music Centre..).
After recording a Fanning session in 2001, Ishtaar split up.
In June 2005, Ishtaar reformed, this time with a new line up. Brian Whelehan took on the drums duties while Ed Carey took position behind the keyboards.
Since June 2005, between 10 & 20 gigs have been played (Eamonn Dorans, The Hub, The Sugar Club, The Voodoo Lounge...).
