Umbrellas under the moonlight

UMBRELLAS UNDER THE MOONLIGHT
May 27, 2007 (by: Isis)

Sonnet:
I see umbrellas under the moonlight
Are these another one cruel disguise
I wonder what are under those umbrellas now
Is it just one cold kiss of death somehow

But what if all the scenes I see beneath
Are dances of giants and elves in grief
Will I be able to commit a sin
Of thinking it’s all past our lives again

Beneath the purple rain of dust and saw
Umbrellas dancing made my eyes in awe
Looked up with gentle gaze of earth in haste
Is it delirium or delight in praise

Umbrellas dancing under broad daylight
Will I ever see the colors of your light?

Song:
And I’ll be dancing in the rain again
With cotton candies in my hand again
I feel the mellow breeze of your touch once more
And so I wonder if I’m the one you adore

And I imagine an umbrella in the night
Where underneath is you and I
As they all see that one umbrella
Dancing in tune of barbarella

Under the rain, that purple rain, I know
I’ll be dancing with you once more
With an umbrella that together we hold
Make me believe umbrellas dance once more
And we’ll be singing that same old tune
And soon forget about the 21st
of September

And I’ll be dancing in the rain with you
And in my hand will be the flowers in blue
Make me believe a fairytale come true
Underneath an umbrella with a kiss from you

It was a long time ago when the fellows had to go
To find the right spot where they can have the cloak and dagger
But it really didn't matter "cause the wind seemed to falter
They didn't even know that blood runs through their veins
They seem so cold
Not even a young boy could make them hold
The strangeness of the night and the righteousness of right
Not a song, not a sound
We don't know where we're bound
To follow the rules or to go with all the blows and bruises

There's no pain left to feel
No more things left to deal with
The numbness seemed to heal the wounds carried over by the shots of the maker
And the sound of your souls
Recreating what was right, trying to live with all their might
All the fellas gone crazy
Made a life full of maybe
We're not doing this and that
Were all they can say
When their lives are in dismay
All the faith flew away
I say maybe, we oughta put these rules to the test
And maybe we could bring out
What we do best

These are not a rebel's words
Just a longing to be heard
It may be wrong but what the heck
You know we've done our best

Concealing all the passion
The right to this creation
With all the contemplation forget the condemnation
'Cause the fellas' gotta go
And the rhythm's just so slow
Movin' in and out of time
Makin' music without rhyme
Do you feel it movin' through the music?

Chorus:
Do you feel it, movin' through the music
Can you hear it, movin' in your mind
Do you feel it, movin' through the music
Can you hear it, movin' in your mind

And there's no way to speak out all the words that they keep
The price they have to pay for the thoughts running so deep
The flow of their tears just don't match how they feel
'Cause the fellas' gone crazy made a life full of maybe
But the work of the human hands cannot be denied
We cannot concieve all the things that thay hide
So even if you put all these tears together
Music without rhyme is just so sublime

And even if the blind man chose to agree
That the people he sees are the fellas' gone crazy
There were too many things to admit
But there's just no way,
To make them comprehend all the things they have to say

Chorus:
Do you feel it movin' through the music
Can you hear it, movin' in your mind
Do you feel it movin' through the music
Can you feel it, movin' in your mind

Concealing all the passion,
The right to this creation
With all the contemplation
Forget the condemnation
'Cause the fellas' gotta go
And the rhythm's just so slow
Movin' in and out of time
Makin' music without rhyme

feel it, through the music
hear it in your mind

(repeat Chorus)
