Bio
Raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, she was exposed to various types of indigenous music through the eyes of her great-great grandmother. Roots reggae music is a calling for her, even though she has lent her vocals to Rap, Funk, and other genres. She has performed festivals, and throughout the state of Texas. Island Rose has shared the stage with the likes of reggae legend Sugar Minott,
Eric Roberson, and Warrior King.
