William Boddy
A Bass player with a substantial career spanning thirty-five years, William has shared his music with some legendary performers such as David Grisman, Norton Buffalo, and Tim Buckley. He opened for the Eagles with his band “Sierra” in the 70’s. William is a dynamic musician who is straightforward about what he wants - to paint & to play bass. Along with his music William is also a lifelong artist who has traveled the globe and painted some of the largest seascape murals in the world.
D.J. Wilson
A Stratocaster shredder for 35 years who first learned to play the trumpet while listening to big bands along the Vegas Strip. Inspired by an early love of music while remembering his Grandmothers piano playing, as the most beautiful sound he had ever heard.
He strives to spread this inspiration of music where ever he goes to everyone around by radiating the joy of heartfelt expression through his guitar.
Inspired by the creative writing of David Bowie the harmonies of The Beatles, and the masterful guitar work of Phil Keaggy and Jimmy Page. D.J is an innovative guitar player who shares his love of music with his family, friends and the world at large.
David Long
Professional lead singer in 12 different bands for the last twenty-five years David has revamped his earlier love of the drums and has recently jumped onto the drum-stool to participate with Island Earth in his first roll as a drummer since ending his long career as front-man lead singer. David has become a percussionist known for his fluid style and free form cymbal work.
Brian Rill
Award winning song writer who was voted Salida, Colorado's best musician in 2009, Brian spends his time writing, recording and teaching guitar at The Salida School of Stringed Instruments-which he co-owns with Wm. Boddy. Brian just released his new collection of ten songs titled "Waterflow" with his band mates joining him for three tracks "Winter Song", "Drums Vs. Guns" & "Waterflow" this CD features multiple genres from Rock to Country and an award winning Latin song "Estrella Rumba" which is busy spanning the globe and reaching listeners worldwide.
