Bio
David De Soberal and Dizzy Toledo met through friends and family. Their hunger for music became an extreme passion. Thoughts began formulating through conversations bringing Billy Soler (Original bass player) into the scene. David started writing the songs for the band and jamming sessions began. The guys were looking to adopt a band name worth remembering. They first came up with Metal Maniacs due to the influence and inspiration of the bands they listened to. Ideas generating after the other, the guys named the band Italic. The trio found themselves enjoying every minute and creating more material that can grasp attention in so many ways.
Italic started playing numerous venues and getting recognition from friends, family and audiences alike. Playing on stage is such a rush, a natural high for them.
Unfortunately, Billy departed due to family responsibilities, leaving David and Dizzy without a bass player. Later on, Javi Gomez was added to the mix. The Trio ITALIC™ bond became like no other. With De Soberal's intense lyrics, Toledo's heart pounding drums and Ajay Page thumping bass lines, Italic has you coming back for more. Making the band a unit of genuine and mysterious individuals.
