It began at a backyard barbeque in 1997 when two ladies, just mucking around with a handful of half-remembered songs and an acoustic guitar, held a campfire spellbound for hours with incredible vocal harmonies that seemed to come from nowhere. That event became the seed of an idea, that finally blossomed three years later as It Came from Dollhouse.
Since 2000, It Came from Dollhouse has managed to keep and cultivate that same unassuming approachability while belting out an awesome repertoire of current and classic covers with stunning clarity and power. Our setlists focus specifically on the Rock O'the Ladies, the powerhouse classics of the 60's and 70's, the innovations of the 80's and 90's and those of current artists, faithfully backed by a rock-solid, hard-edged and well-seasoned group of musicians focused on keeping the harmonies crisp and the drive alive.
More than a cover band, more than a tribute band, we faithfully reinterpret each of the songs we perform, giving our audiences their favorite classics as if they were hearing them for the first time, all over again.
