Just wanted to let you guys know that I've had your EP in my player for the past few weeks. The strait-forward rock of No Way, My Journal, I'm Not OK, Walk On Water feel great - love the guitar riffs Quintin. Your sound feels right in the vein of the best from Alice (no pun intended), Creed and Nickelback.
The rhythmic verses of Don't Leave are a nice change compared to the rest - kind of a groovy Incubus vibe to it in my ears.
Nick - great job on the vocals. After seeing you several times - I don't think I've heard your voice sound any better!
And kudos to Tim Berger at Exceptional Sounds - very solid production sound for an indie release!

ITHIKA a four piece high energy modern rock experience formed in the summer of 2004 out of the ashes of a few well known local bands. Quite a few members have had the privilege of opening for national acts in their former projects, to name a few, Seether, Cold, Cypress Hill. Nick Shannon lead vocals, Quintin Fyffe lead guitar, Roger Cantrell bass guitar and Doug Piatt drums, combine for one of the most lethally talented acts to ever perform in the Dayton area. ITHIKA plays by their own rules when it comes to their music, not following any standards, yet setting them along the way. ITHIKA is one of the first local rock acts to blend new emotional rock with great classic rock such as Van Halen, Def Leppard, Ozzy and others. They also play a steady rotation of the hottest venues in there area, some of these clubs include, W.O. Wrights in Beavercreek, Bojangles in West Carrollton, Katz Lounge in Kettering, Aviators/Stubbies in Vandalia and The Savoy Lounge in Springfield. ITHIKA has also been a mainstay at some of Dayton's biggest live event's which include, WTUE's 2005 and 2006 St. Patrocks Day at Flanagan's and the 2005 HauntFest/Boo & Brew In the Oregon District, playing infront of thousands at both shows. Our future goals are to expand venues of playing throughout Ohio and the Midwest and capture the attention of many eager fans that have been waiting for the vibe, sound, and soul, that ITHIKA provides.
