It's Go Time

We are two 16 year old kids from a town in Maine, this isn't a big state and so the people are very picky over their music here. To get noticed and a develop a fan base as a pop band in a mainly metal/hardcore scene takes alot of persistent effort. We have tried playing in a few full bands but we have found it hard to find dedicated musicians who have our same mindset and who want to try to make music a career. With that behind us we decided to part ways with the full band way of music and we decided the start a solo project just the two of us and utilize our skills of being able to play every instrument (guitar, bass, drums, piano and vocals). We are constantly promoting, writing, booking shows, playing, practicing, we are nearly doing something with music 24/7. Within a week and a half of our projects existence we had already written 16 songs and began demoing for our first EP. We plan to start recording or EP in the Fall of 2010 and to start playing shows in September 2010. We put alot of time in effort into our projects hoping it'll pay off one day. We have always gotten comments at shows with our old bands on how much we promote and how far we have gotten in such a small time frame. With our old band, A Time For Everything, Allison and I did 99.9% of the booking and management of the band. In 8 months we booked nearly 80 shows and headlined several and toured all over New England and played some of the regions top venues such as Club Texas, The Middle East, The Sad Cafe, Ground Zero, The Station, The Big Easy, The Deering Grange and many more. We hope to make our new project even bigger and greater then that and we are willing to be in 500% more effort then we have before to get done what needs to be done.
