2012 has been a strong year for DMoney and his company AILite Entertainment.
In February, AILite Entertainment worked with Reebok to organize the Reebok and WeBenFresh sponsored "WeRChi" shoecase.
The sold out event took place at Reggies in Chicago, IL, and featured performances from emerging Chicago talent such as Rockie Fresh, LEP Bogus Boys, King Louie, and the entire AILite Entertainment roster.
DMoney followed this epic event by heading to Austin, TX, and opening for Hip-Hop legend Scarface, at the SXSW music festival. The entire AILite Entertainment roster performed as well. This show also featured performances from John Blu and the entire AAU roster, King Louie, YP and others. Now with his release "We On!", he is continuing to garner attention for his team, as well as his region.
The "We On!" EP features the title track, which DMoney co-produced, as well as the hit "I Just Wanna Ball" featuring and produced by label mate Al Dilla. The new project displays DMoney's versatility as an artist, and adds to the plethora of artists making a buzz in the Chicago region.

AILite Moneyman
"AILite CEO, Aur-City representer, midwest ambassador, flos colder than the winter"...Born in Missouri, raised in Illinois, and having spent time living in Wisconsin, AILite Moneyman is a midwest artist through and through. He proudly represents the region with a passion found throughout his music and displayed in his live performance.
Money blends lyricism and substance, with flashy and materialistic, for a style that is as diverse as the region he represents. "I aim to make something for everyone ,while at the same time, staying true to myself and creating quality music." This approach has enabled Money to develop into an artist capable of creating both records to party to, and records that are thought provoking, with seamless transition.
A fixture in the local scene of Aurora, IL, Money has been honing his craft for years, performing at various venues throughout the Chicagoland area and Midwest region. He has opened for the likes of T.I., Nas, and Big Sean to name a few. Thus far, other career highlights have included performances at major music festivals SXSW, and A3C, as well as working along side Reebok to organize a showcase that included some of Chicago's best emerging artists.
Now, after years of learning the business while continuing to grow as an artist, Money feels poised to impact the music industry in a major way. "For far too long I was reluctant to release much material. I thought that my music needed a major label's machine to be able to get it in front of the right audience. I knew that my music was great, but I was afraid of putting out great music that no one was aware of."
However, anyone who follows music is aware of how much the music business has changed in recent years. Money believes these changes have made it easier for independents to be heard and take control of their careers. Which is why he chose to title his next project "Making It Reign"
Making It Reign is a six song EP, set to be released in 2016. The first single from the project is "Better Way" A song that finds AILite speaking to the struggles of living paycheck to paycheck, and the stress of earning a living illegally. In a time where society loves instant results, the steady growth of Money's career ,may prove to be, a "Better Way"
