It's The Pigs

We live music, we grew up living music. We're influenced by the ocean and mountains as well as the city. The four of us have diverse interests and musical tastes that combine to form a unique sound and style. We love the adrenaline rush of surfing big waves and riding big mountains. Both have an intensity and a calm that equate to a zen moment of happiness and peace, but also the desire to go further and push the limits. Our sound has evolved from listening to early Sabbath, Iggy and the Stooges and David Bowie to the So. Cal punk rock bands like Bad Religion, Pennywise, NOFX and Guttermouth. We love Miles and Thelonious and Buddy and classical cats like Mozart, Beethoven and Wagner. California has deeply impacted our musical style. So many bands we love are from here: The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down, Incubus, Rancid, Green Day - just so much good music! We really just let our music take us into whatever direction it feels like going. No restrainsts or rules - whatever comes out is what we're feeling at that particular moment. Our wide range of influences helps our music to travel in so many directions that it really has a sound of its own.
