Hip Hop has been a huge part of Izwon's life ever since he can remember. Memories of spittin rhymes at recess as early as third grade are still vivid today. The art and music has been something that IZ1 has always felt passionately about. The most prevalent setting of Izwon's life has been the streets. With his mother in prison (3 bids-16 years), and a father that was in and out due to a lifestyle of doin and selling drugs, IZ was raised by his grandmother who housed anywhere from 7 to 10 dependants. She earned minimum wage and thus worked much of the time. This left IZ under little supervision and its no surprise he had experienced drugs and the street-life by the time he had turned 8 years old. His music would become an outlet for his pain and struggles he had so often experienced throughout his life. His talent and love for the art would eventually allow him to shine in the way the Most had always intended for him. Now, whether rocking crowds live or expressing his talent in the booth, Hip Hop has become the most influential and prevalent element in his life.
