Bio
About Isaiah Izzy Lemons, Electric Guitarist
An astoundingly,
naturally gifted 14-year-old prodigy, Isaiah Izzy Lemons is a self-taught electric
guitarist. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos
Santana, Slash, Michael Jackson, KISS, and others, Izzys repertoire is diverse
-- the Blues, Rock, Gospel and R&B.
Born at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, Izzy was destined for
greatness. After receiving his first
guitar on his tenth birthday, the magic began! Realizing that he
possessed a true gift and musical talent, his mother began booking him in
many talents shows, concerts, festivals, benefits, and television
appearances, as detailed below. Izzy
captured the attention of Eddie Levert of the OJays. As a result, Izzy
was a guest of the OJays at the 2012 Summer Music Festival,
delighting in a front row seat, backstage pass, and lunch with Eddie
Levert the next day at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in
Washington, DC.
When asked about his dreams and aspirations, Izzy said that he is willing
to put his
normal child life aside to pursue his music career and become one of the
youngest, greatest and well-known self- taught guitarists around. He
states, I enjoy being different and not playing the typical music that
kids my
age play. I want to influence and inspire others in a positive way and I can do
that through playing my guitar. I love having my own style that separates me
from everyone else.
Izzy is managed by Kausha Wells, his mother, and Michael Davis.
"An old soul who plays like an aged guitarist!" "If you
close your eyes and listen to him play, you wouldn't believe that
he's so young!"
