Tribute bands Damage Inc., Izzy Ozborne are part of Monsters of Mock, a concert at the fairgrounds on Saturday 9-23-2006.
They might not be the real thing but they want to rock you just as hard! Or better, but in reality, it's Izzy Ozborne - a look alike of the former Black Sabbath lead singer, solo artist and reality TV star.
"Since 1980, people would see me walking down the street and say 'hey, Ozzy!' " said Joe Giambroni of Red Bluff, also known as "Izzy Ozborne."
Therefore, he kind of fell into it. Giambroni used to play drums with a band called Vertigo. After performing a couple of Ozzy Osbourne songs, he decided to break off on his own.
Like his day jobs. When he's not on stage he works as a disc jockey or helps out on his dad's cattle ranch.
But on stage - he's Ozzy. "My whole persona, body movements, gestures," Giambroni said, "A lot of it comes naturally. Some of it is acting."
He threw his head down and began rambling, sometimes incoherently, in an Ozzy Osbourne impression to do with a Viagra prescription.
Giambroni hasn't met Ozzy Osbourne but he enjoyed the MTV reality show " The Osbournes." Overall, he thinks Ozzy Osbourne is a great guy.
By the way, the whole bat incident a total accident, he said.The controversial singer is known for biting the head off a bat during a live show. Giambroni said Ozzy Osbourne thought it was a rubber bat.
Whether a bat is bitten or not, people ages 12 to 45 should get a kick out of his show at the fairgrounds, Giambroni said.

The Izzy Ozborne band is a full scale Ozzy tribute band from California. Izzy has performed and sold out large concert venues, arenas, festivals, nightclubs, casino's, and events. He has made many radio appearances (you can sample one of his classic funniest radios interview in this EPK).
In January 2004 The Izzy Ozborne band took grand prize honors at the "Battle of the Bands" held at Win-River Casino in California. The band, with its dead-on tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, beat out 11 original bands for the grand prize. Izzy and his guitarist "KK" has been known to sit in and jam with "The Frank Hannon Band" Hannon is the lead guitarist from the rock band "Tesla". The Izzy Ozborne Band performs every season at the Oakland Raiders football games with the number one Raider fan base "The Black Hole". This has lead to additional nation wide TV media appearances like HBO, Comedy Central, The Best Damn Sports Show with Tom Arnold and more.
