Since then, he's been busy, releasing A Star In The Makin': Volume 1 (April 2010), followed by Lyrical in March 2012 and Volume 2: Broke Issues in November of the same year. Fans should keep their ears to the ground for the upcoming release of a single, The Connect, feat. Perm. There are also plans for an EP coming out later in 2014.

In June 2013 he played live at the Apache Club in Atlanta, with plans to tour more, both locally in Texas and further afield in coming years.

J Ware has big plans, stating that "When I wrote Lyrical [in 2012], I wanted to show people in the industry that I have directional flow - I'm not just about punchline after punchline with relentless effort and hustle. I work constantly on perfecting each and every line, improving all the time".

It's this kind of attitude, along with a consistent stream of releases that is set to propel J Ware upwards and onwards. Along with solid collaborations and a growing fan base, it won't take long for this hip-hop lyricist to reach the top of his game.

"J Ware: "Live In The South""

J Ware is a proud Texan and shows it. “Live In The South” showcases that home town, well home state pride as he goes hard for Texas. Other than that the song really plays on the title as the hook and had this kind of baritone voice that delivers it and balances out J Ware’s normal vocal delivery. If the Lone Star state was looking for hip hop anthem, they might want to put J Ware’s ode on the ballot. (http://www.jango.com/music/J+Ware?l=0) - Kendra Beltran; www.dahiphopplace.com

J Ware Bio

“I'm persevering through the struggle; now, my dreams are becoming my reality, so there’s no turning stopping”, says J Ware explaining how motivated he is to becoming a renowned true Hip-Hop artist. J Ware a country boy, born in Denton, TX was raised by his mother along with his older sister. His father wasn’t a strong influence in his life, so both J Ware and his mother were left to learn the in’s and out’s of how to be a man by their experience. The lessons learned are ultimately the attributes that have helped form the artist we know today.

Ice, J Ware’s former alias as a teenager, was hanging and joking around with a couple of friends, when he spit his very first bars. Although, his heart had always been heavily immersed in music, inspired by the lyrics of Lauryn Hill at that time, he was then ready to carry rhyming as his most desired passion. Two years later as a sophomore in high school, he and a few friends began a group called “Dub T.” They instantly began recording; others took notice and praised the group for their potential talent. “With us being so young, we had far above average talent but lacked guidance.” They soon connected with a local producer out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and would go on to record a number of individually released tracks. Recording as a group, J Ware was able to realize the talent that he had within himself, and wanted to explore his options as solo artist.

2009, J Ware started working on his debut project; 14 months later after delays on April 21, 2010 his debut solo mixtape dropped. Misguided on the idea that you had to make certain type of music to get any sort of radio airplay, he named the mixtape, A Star In The Makin’ Volume 1. “At this juncture in my life my mindset on what was going on around me and what I was going to have to do to make in the industry was so immature; and my music reflected that. Therefore, my debut was nothing like me at all, but it was stuff that I thought the people/radio wanted to hear.”

Fast forwarding to 2011, after spending an incredible amount of time off, reconstructing his plan and his vision of success, J Ware bounced back with his first solo performance at a local open mic. For several months following J Ware become a regular at local clubs in the Dallas & Arlington area performing his music, gaining fans across the metroplex. With new fans it was time for new music, and brand to go along with it. In November of that year, J Ware founded his music affiliation, The Warehouse Connect (TWC) & on March 3, 2012 he released his second mixtape Lyrical, which began the remodeling of his career as a lyricist. Over the next 8 months, J Ware focused on writing and his worst habit re-writing until 15 new tracks that he would release on his, Vol. 2: Broke Issues mixtape. This project consisted of only original tracks and beats, helping J Ware build a platform not only as an artist, but also as a credible writer.

Immediately, following this project a lack of promotions and acknowledgment contributed to J Ware going thru the most trying times of his life. He fell into a financial burden, where not only as an artist was he conflicted but as a man as well. Having his car reposed, losing his apartment, amassing debt, not being able to provide the necessities for himself, and having to rely on his sister for help was detrimental to his confidence, nearly causing him to derail from his passion of music. Forcing him to take a step back from the game to get his mental psyche together before continuing any such pursuit.

J Ware is currently promoting his single Live in the South, which is featured on Vol 2: Broke Issues. Through the years and his many struggles, he knows the saying, “Only the strongest survive” to be true, and continues to be persistent; grinding endlessly. Within the next few years J Ware plans to expand his brand into multiple non-music industries from auto to animation to real estate. As of now, he continues to look at the blue prints of artists like Jay Z, Ludacris & Lupe Fiasco have set, until the day comes when someone can follow the blueprint he has transpired.
