"Hale Finally Hits It- Charlie Carberry"

After several great performances at the Fall and winter Huskiepaloozas Jack Hale and his backing trio were finally awarded a headlining seat at this springs Huskiepalooza. The recently unveiled to the school music scene singer had this to say, "...it's great to see that people are really enjoying it. I mean most of the bands that play at the school are real rockers you know? But to be headlining with a less popular is quite the trip." Jack and his band go on at 9:30 and promise to give the crowd an energetic show as always from the blond hair lead man. So if you find yourself with no plans, you better run on over to Huskiepalooza and check out this up and comer. - OPRF Trapeze

Bio

Jack Hale is a singer/songwriter that dabbles into a variety of sounds to make his plentiful list of original songs. Growing up in an Irish household the influence of music was almost immediate and the love for performing with and for people was instilled in him from the beginning. With song ranging from acoustic pop, to electric indie and Irish folk rock he provides a different sound and new look at already established genres. Some of the many musicians that influenced him over the years include, Glen Hansard, Noel Gallagher of Oasis, Pete Doherty of the Libertines, Ryan Adams, and his childhood as well as current idol Joe Strummer. Music was the thing that got help Jack through the tribulations of a broken home, lack of belief in life, and a lengthy hospital stay that nearly took his life, and because of this he brings an energy and passion to the stage is hard to compare with. Jack Hale sings for the loser, but gives the last lines of the song to hope that we'll all come up winners.
