Jack Higgins/Jack Higgins Band

Very much influenced by the "feel" of music. From Van Morrison to Bob Marley into Bob Schneider, Steve Earle, David Gray, Cat Stevens, the Beatles, the Bee Gees and more. Some folks say I remind then of Jack Johnson with a hint of Neil Young and a helping of Van Morrison - an odd love-child indeed. My music is playful and melodic sung soulfully in plain language that shows an honesty, a playfulness and the truth. I will jump into the blues and can wail on the harmonica. I do like to bare my soul. My stage presence is professional and warrants attention. People like having me around.

This year has been dedicated to the new CD - Hide, but I did get to play at SXSW (the Hideout showcase) and a little stint during Twangfest. Now back in the Chicago area I am looking for gigs!
