Bio

Described as funky, folk, pop, Jackie Martino’s music is entirely original both thematically and musically. Her songs range from deeply introspective to richly orchestrated and lifting to the spirit. Jackie’s two self-released albums "Run" and "Someday" continue to receive considerable attention from radio and media. Her second self-released CD "Someday" was mastered at The Lodge by Emily Lazar (David Bowie, Beyonce Knowles, Natalie Merchant), SOMEDAY features Jackie’s smooth vocals and rich musicianship on eight new tracks ranging from the upbeat (“Tell me”, “My Heart”) to the captivating (“Someday”, “You Make it OK”, “Daddy I Do”).
A veteran of live performance, Jackie is capable of becoming one with the audience giving you a feeling that you’re one of her long lost friends. She has played many of the top venues in the northeast including, The Bitter End in New York City and Toads Place in New Haven Ct. What is unique about Jackie Martino is that she has many different versions of her group, from solo, to 2-3 piece to a full band. Her music is down to earth and touches everyone who comes to see her play. In 2005 Jackie received the Connecticut Cultural Arts and Tourism Grant in Composition. Check out the Pictures Page for performance pictures and Press reviews! She has been a featured Artist of the Month at GoGirlsMusic.com, Femmusic.com and receives constant attention as a featured artist on garageband.com. Both CD's are available at all online retailers. Jackie is currently working on her third CD and is available for booking by contacting her directly at 203-829-2129 or email edenway@optonline.net
