Saxophonist "Jackiem Joyner"
The best way to describe Jackiem is simply "soulful".
With each note jackiem plays capturing and keeping his audiences attention, Jackiem has developed a sound that moves people like no other saxophonist. Born 1980 in Norfolk VA, Jackiem's church and gospel backround has enabled him to fuse the very spirit of music with classic jazz, funk, and R&B.
By the young age of only 22, Jackiem's instrumental skill had already taken him to over 6 countries throughout the world and several of the major jazz festivals in the USA. Jackiem's musical arrangement and production ability is of no question, along with writing and producing his debut CD, Jackiem has earned credits with artists such as Bobby Lyle and saxophonist Jaared.
Jackiem's talent has also earned honor of being the opening act for artist such as India Ire, George Duke, George Benson, Najee, and Boney James just to name a few. Jackiem has Co-headlined with Ronnie Laws, Phil Perry, Spyro Jyra, Marcus Johnson, Angela Bofil, and many others.
While staying busy in the studio writing and producing, Jackiem is on the track to stardom and confesses "nothin can hold me back".
