Jack's no different then your average kid in America. Single mother until he was 7 then she remarried to his "evil step father" from there Jack felt alone and lived that way. Blame the ADHD or lack of attention but Jack was searching for something and someone to love. Around the age of 13 Jack started writing his feelings down (since no one would listen) a diary we could say, from that it lead to poetry and then song writing. At this point only a handful of people knew that's what Jack's passion was but those that did encouraged him to move forward with it. They would tell him that his story wasn't that far from others stories and that he could help others that feel lonely or "banished" from there families or friends and that its okay to be a "loner" or "introverted" when the extroverts are the ones becoming prom kings/ queens and the life of the party, and he was just in the stands watching and waiting for his chance at the light. 
"I would always run away from home for hours and just walk, walk and stare at the sky and wonder who else is looking up and running away.....
