Bio
Jack Leyton has been a professional Guitarist/Songwriter for over two decades, and has written and performed songs currently on Capital Records label. His most recent release with Capital Records (Sunday Mornings) was performed by Damhnait Doyle along side a 30 piece orchestra at the Juno Awards on national television. More recently, Jack was awarded the title of “Honourable Mention” by the Newfoundland and Labrador government for his acoustic composition (Scottish Massacre), which he dedicates to the families of Dunblane Scotland.
Jack, and his original music has been featured on Much Music’s spotlight, and he has collaborated with song writers such as Ken Myer from Cowboy Junkies and Damhnait Doyle currently with the band Shaye.
