Jack of Hearts

The title track from Jack of Hearts’ debut album Hard Feelings (out tomorrow) starts with a simple piano intro, classically elegant and graceful, that leads you gently along, floating on clouds. I love the fact that the groove just tiptoes in — cautiously at first, but then with increasing earnestness until it finally falls into a soft bed of undulating guitars, cascading drums and soulful vocals rippling along the smooth surface of the track. This is the way I like my pop: classy yet sexy, structured but unpredictable, emotional without being cloying. - Latest Disgrace

Jack of Hearts is relatively new but the collective involved aren’t, they’ve mostly been in other bands or working behind the scene for other artists namely Brittany Bosco. They are all talented and bring something missing with everything feeling cold and digital it’s pretty refreshing to hear an authentic sound. We recently had our 1st major house show at the BeAtlanta house. We were lucky enough to have a new band called Jack of Hearts and Atl experimental greats Jungol. The party went off without a hitch...it was a fucking blast. While we unfortunately weren't able to get any videos of the bands playing, I did have the pleasure of talking with the guys from Jungol for a bit....

Jack of Hearts was a really amazing live band...real spaced out, kind of psychedelic at times; really great melodies. I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot of from these dudes so be looking out for them in the coming months. - BeAtlanta
