Jack of No Trades

Jack of No Trades

BandRock

Jack of No Trades is one word. Passion. It's a mix of energy and emotion. Not overly complex, not excessively loud, it is what it is. Heavy guitars, melodic solos, occasional synth backing, and honest lyrics.

Biography

Jack of No Trades was started as a result of failed high school garage bands of the past. I had songs written, but bands I had been in just weren't committed. So, I went solo. I write, compose, arrange, and record all of the music myself.

Lyrics

Demon Within

Written By: Michael Monceski

In the shadows, lurking deep
Lives a monster that never sleeps
Banishing every drop of light
There's nothing left for me to fight

In my mind and in my soul
This parasite will take control

Self-betrayal of the deadliest kind
Enslaved by illusions of my own mind
No escaping from my fate this time
Thoughts turn to actions, and I'm crossing the line
Never knowing when
To start again
Drowning in the sin
Of the demon within

Through my eyes, in the burning flames
Wrath is free, and it's holding the reigns
Riding me down 'til I give in
Offerring me up to the demon within

Through my eyes, in the burning flames
Wrath is free, and it's holding the reigns
Riding me down 'til I give in
Offerring me up to the demon...

In my mind and in my soul
This parasite has taken control

Self-destruction will be my demise
Confused by the visions in my own eyes
Losing all control over my own mind
Lusting for vengence, and now it's time
Before it can begin
Shed away the skin
Just give in
To the demon within

In the shadows, lurking deep
Lives a monster that never sleeps
In my mind and in my soul
This parasite has taken control
