Bio

Born and bred New Yorker Jackson Harris is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and musician on the rise. Recently completing a European tour opening for pop artist Cody Simpson, Jackson is steadily making a name for himself in the pop music market.

Jackson grew up in a family immersed in the arts; his mother is a Broadway producer and always encouraged him to follow his dreams and never let anyone or anything stop him. That philosophy has stuck with Jackson and continues to drive his ambition. Beyond his unrelenting work ethic, Jackson credits his grandmother as the one in the family with the musical and performance talents.

With his four-song EP and hit singles “Go Crazy,” “Come Back Down To Earth” and “Gone In a Heartbeat” under his belt, Jackson was thrilled to release his new album, Sharks & Vampires, in early 2014, which was all written and produced by Jackson. The first single, “Miss Me,” was an instant hit among critics and fans alike.

Jackson just returned from a European tour with Australian pop star Cody Simpson. He was also recently on the road performing with numerous artists including X Factor’s Fifth Harmony (Epic Records), U.K. sensation Cher Lloyd (Syco Music/Epic Records) and up-and-coming act Before You Exit (Sony Music). Jackson has performed at Universal City Walk Hollywood, VidCon, DigiFest and Playlist Live, and opened for numerous other performers including R5, Ryan Beatty and Cody Longo. Jackson has worked with many notable talents both within his music videos and in the studio, such as Vita Chambers (Universal Republic), Judah Friedlander (30 Rock) and Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars)

In his spare time, Jackson values using his music to inspire others. He has worked with charity organization Musicians on Call at various children's hospitals, going from room to room to visit with patients and sing them songs. Jackson has also performed in various charity concerts in support of causes ranging from homelessness awareness to organizations researching leukemia, cancer and AIDS.

Jackson currently resides in New York City with his two dogs, Stella and Goldie.
