Jackson French Quarter Dixieland Band

The Jackson French Quarter Dixieland Band is named in honor of the New Orleans French Quarter, the birthplace and cradle of jazz. We play many selections right out of Preservation Hall in New Orleans, such as Tiger Rag, Closer Walk, the Saints, Mama Don't 'Low, Bill Bailey, and many, many more. Since we started in 1984, we have played for many types of events, including all kinds of parties, wedding receptions, Dixieland funerals, Dixieland church services, professional baseball games, Mardi Gras celebrations, senior home events, 4th of July celebrations, Michigan State University functions, United Way functions, music festivals, service group functions, political rallies, and so on. Dixieland jazz helps liven up any occasion, and we strive to provide the best in New Orleans Dixieland jazz at a reasonable price.
