Bio
Jack Sprat's been in existence for about three years. Our goal is to play songs in a classic rock style (i.e. pretty much meaningless songs with a touch of medication). We also play a few bluesy things and maybe a few ballads just to mix it up a little.
Basically, Playing live and loud is what it is all about. We have a fine collection of multicolored ear-plugs that work great for house parties.
Influences: The Beatles, The Who, Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Black Flag, Husker Du, Social Distortion, Buffalo Tom, Nirvana, NOFX, Meat Puppets, Goodness, Overwhelming Colorfast, Built to Spill, and Ian Waters (the rock god who's usually running the sound at BTS shows).
