• " Jacky Jack White is a quiet force to be reckoned with. He has so many talents and makes them all look so easy, that sometimes his true genius is overlooked by the casual observer. A true renaissance man, he preaches, he teaches, he plays near professional level golf, he writes great songs, he picks a mean guitar, he has a classic singing style, he tells jokes and stories better than Garrison Keillor and I bet, I just bet, he's an excellent juggler ! There is no one else like Jack White...a spectacular preacher, performer and, person. A life lived without experiencing Jacky Jack White is no life at all. "

Karen Staley, award-winning singer/songwriter,wrote “Keeper of the Stars”

• Jacky Jack has entertained audiences all over the world with a Southern Style all his own. He's a treasured friend, and one of the most talented guitar-slingers around.

Thomas B. Vaughn
Colonel, U.S. Army, Retired
Newspaper columnist and talk show co-host of "Viewpoints" and "Straight Talk".

• Jacky Jack White is a friend of mine, and we always have a great time when we make music together. He's got a big spirit, a great sense of humor, and picks a mean guitar.”

"birmingham news"

The Sucarnochee Revue is a
musical taste of the Black Belt
While many people tire of the
negative reputation of the area
known as the Black Belt, Livingston
pastor and musician Jack
White has channeled his
frustration into a project
that shines a spotlight on
the musical heritage and
talent of the region.
“Somebody was
belly-aching that we’ve
got nothing going on
down here, that we were
a Third World country,”
White told Birmingham
News writer Thomas
Spencer. “I just got sick
of it.”
The Sucarnochee
Revue was born upon
that sentiment coupled
with White’s boundless
energy and his years of success in
the country music business. White,
pastor of the Livingston Church
of Christ, has several albums to
his credit and has penned songs
recorded by Ray Stevens, Charley
Pride, Buddy Jewell, Steve Wariner,
Neal McCoy and Mark Lowery.
He received an ASCAP Award for
“If I Didn’t Love You,” and a NSAI
Award for the #1 Southern Gospel
song “When Men Pray.”
“The purpose of the SucarnocheeRevue is to introduce radio listeners
in Alabama, Mississippi, and,
importantly, other parts of the nation and world to the artistic
community of performers from the
Black Belt area,” writes White on
the Sucarnochee Revue website.
“Since the 1920’s, this area has
been written about, acts have been
recorded, and, in some cases,
exploited by professionals from
other parts of the United States, and
Europe. The Sucarnochee Revue
presents Black Belt Music in its most
authentic manner.”
White serves as host and emcee
for each show and often performs
as well...... - thomas spencer
