Jacky Stone and His Ugly Bones E.P.

-This was recorded in the bathroom at SouthSide Downs over the course of Memorial Day Weekend. A couple of the Songs made it onto the Full Length Album

Jacky Stone and His Ugly Bones "BLARG ALL OVER WRIGLEY!"

-Encouraged by the Bathroom Recordings Mr. Stone and His Bones moved into the much more luxurious and acoustically agreeable Haunted Attic to record the Full Length: BLARG ALL OVER WRIGLEY! It's Way Better than the self-titled E.P. which is saying quite a lot because the E.P. was pretty great.

Bio

In the Fall of 2007 Jacky Stone walked out on a lucrative career as a Day Trader.

It was not dissimilar to the scene in Jerry Maguire when Tom Cruise storms out of his office, except that Mr. Stone declared that he intended to jump from a notorious local bridge with the express purpose of ending his own life. This caused quite a stir around the office, but he was known for his outlandish sense of humour and his coworkers assumed it was another one of his pranks. When he failed to return the following Monday, Jacky's brother Richard (with whom Jacky earned a great deal of money under the team name STONECOLD) set about covering up the degree of Jacky's distress. The other Traders were told that he was taking some well earned time off sailing around the Mediterranean.

Jacky Stone had in fact moved into his 1989 Dodge Aries (the same make and model as Principal Rooney's from Ferris Bueller's Day Off) and taken to consuming a diet of Caffeine Enriched Malt Liquors. He dressed all in Black. He responded to friendly inquires with suicidal rhyming couplets. He threw himself in front of passing locomotives for amusement.

Through a series of happy accidents Jacky Stone and His Ugly Bones moved into a marvelously dusty attic and began to produce music. A lot of it. Friends and family, who had not heard from Mr. Stone for many months, were inundated with hand illustrated mailings and home pressed discs.

In the Summer of 2010, Jacky Stone emerged from the Attic. He brought with him all of his Ugly Bones, the songs and stories of his time spent in the shadow of a deep and incurable sadness. Many were startled by the accessibility of these melancholy tales. They were Punk Rock, and they really Rocked.

Jacky Stone and His Ugly Bones play wherever and whenever possible in order to stay ahead of the Nameless Terror which almost consumed them.

Influences include: Green Day (check out the 1st Track on the New Album "BLARG ALL OVER WRIGLEY!"), Screeching Weasel, Sam Cooke, Nirvana, Paul Beribeau, Stand-Up Comedy, Bad Religion and The Jackson Family
