Bio
I was raised in a rural town north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Songwriting is in my roots and was something I found interest in from a young age. I began writing music under the mentorship of a successful local, Jason Deutsch, and continued to show interest and growth in more corners of the music world, taking lessons on any instrument I could get my hands on. After playing a part in a few teenage pop-punk bands and performing at local venues and coffee houses as a solo artist, I started a regionally successful original pop-rock group, Crossing Boundaries, that ended up touring with the Clarks and Rusted Root, and earning opening slots for Maroon 5, Selena Gomez, Arrested Development, and the like. Crossing Boundaries won the Cleveland House of Blues Rock-Off and recorded a single with Larry Crane (of Tape-Op), after which the band continued to perform regionally. Following the break-up of Crossing Boundaries, I jumped on tour with another local success, Badboxes, and found myself performing in front of sold-out crowds in D.C., Buffalo, Nashville, Austin (SXSW), and more. Realizing that music would forever be my calling, I began developing a repertoire of solo material and moved to Nashville, TN to continue taking classes and further develop my skills and network as a solo musician.
