Bio
Jacob started writing music when he was 12 years old on his brother's acoustic guitar and fell in love with the process of songwriting. Throughout his teens he was obsessed with creating better and better songs, oftentimes refusing to use chords from previous tracks in new ones - always pursuing 'newness'. He also used software such as Music 2000 on the Playstation and Ejay that led to a passion for electronica and music production.
In his formative years he would record songs on tape players and practice along on the drums over and over until he felt that he had found the 'right' part. It was this level of obsession that left all other things such as studying for school and playing with friends by the wayside. He played in bands and performed on the drums at local festivals before going on to study Creative Music Technology and Songwriting and Production at Bath Spa University, and The University of South Wales.
He currently lives in Cardiff where he teaches privately and continues to work on different music projects.
