Jacob Duran has been perfecting his craft as a rapper for about 5 years now. As the saying goes; life imitates art, and this is reflected in his music. Jacob is highly influenced by all facets of life, both good and bad. He is born and raised in the south; but you will find that his music is universal. Listening to his music you can tell the craft has been well perfected. Duran is as authentic as it gets from his lyrics to his overall personality. When it comes to influences Duran gives credit to artist such as kanye West and Lupe Fiasco. Duran is universal and prides hisself in creating music that we can all relate to.
