Jacob John started creating music not long over a year ago when he decided to further his musical knowledge by improving his instrumental skills. After a week and a half of playing the guitar he wrote his first song entitled Careless.

Realising the challange of preparing an hour a half set within a month for a guitar newbie Jacob Johnjoined forces with singer/songwriter/guitarist/percussionist James Jack. The two formed acoustic duo Jacob&James and reached their peak in September 2011 headlining a gig at the HMV Institute.

The pair were the highlight of the show according to the audience combining their musical impact with a confident stage presence and the essence of fun their performances never failed to provide.

But the pair decided to focus on other projects after the performance. Jacob John decided to improve his musical skills and took time to improve his songwriting and guitar playing.
