Who is jacobs theory?
The room is dim, the house lights are down, and the thrill of anticipation is thick and nearly intoxicating. An almost electric buzz fills the air that has nothing to do with the sound euipment. Low, anxious chatter erupts in spurts, always keeping one ear on the stage as the band quietly takes their place. A hush falls and then...
An explosion of sound and emotion and showmanship. That is jacobs theory. The highly energetic rock group showcases a great mix of modern/pop rock, strong, clear vocals, and an upbeat, down-to-earth attitude. The group has been expanding their territory and fan base over the South East playing venues like Atlanta Fest, Bilo Center, New Brookland Tavern, and many more.
They continue to gain popularity with the release of their self titled EP, gaining air time on over 100 stations both online and over the air such as 89.3 FM out of Greenville, 106.5 FM out of California, WTMT.net out of Atlanta, and Radio Crystal Blue out of NYC. The three track debut features the rich full sound of tripping staccatos flowing into smooth harmonies, poppy riffs, and catchy melodies all rolled into what the best of what modern rock has to offer with an original flair sure to take them to the top.
What started as a good idea between friends in a grocery store parking lot has exploded into a firestorm of music, message, and stage presence. With big dreams and a lot of faith pulling them through the rough spots DR3 (Lead Vocals), Jeremy Pressley (guitar), Bryan Clardy (drums), Travis Baldwin (bass) and Josh Rogers (guitar) have pulled together not only something they love, but something they are proud of.
