With an old soul, original sound, astonishing energy, and the drive to SELL BEER from whatever stage he is playing, a young, vibrant newcomer Jacob Stiefel takes today’s country music and gives it an overhaul that can only be understood when witnessed firsthand. Stiefel remains loyal to country music roots whole adding his own rock and roll flair, paying homage to the like of Waylon, Willie, Skynyrd and AC/DC. His skills on the guitar, smokey southern-rock voice, and rock and roll rebel attitude quickly differentiate him as an artist that respects the music the way it should be – by giving his performances all he’s got every night on stage.
Raised in Fort Payne, Alabama – just an hour south of the Tennessee state line –Jacob Stiefel began preparing himself for his journey to Nashville. “I believe I was born the perfect mix, half Alabamian and half Texan,” says the proud Southerner. Stiefel graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009 with a degree in Civil Engineering. However, he followed his dreams to Nashville to further pursue his music career. “Growing up, everybody told me that I needed a degree, so I got one,” says Stiefel. Days after graduation he followed his heart to Music City for his true passion: “filling venues wall to wall and creating a foot stomping, shit-kickin, beer drinkin hell of a time”. The Yellowhammer State talent arrived in Nashville and quickly began cutting his teeth in the famed Honky Tonks of Music City USA.
