My only aim in life is to be honest, to always speak the truth, which can at times, be uncomfortable and costly in a society too afraid to see what is real. In making music, my mission is the same: to share the authentic experience of emotion being made manifest through the medium of sounds and words. After playing solo shows for over ten years, (i've shared the stage with JEWEL, CRASH VEGAS, WILD STRAWBERRIES, and been in two CMW's), and recording multi-layered music on my 4-track, i realized i was not presenting myself as honestly as i could be. so i decided to marry the two forms of expression and bought a laptop. Now, in the style of, Imogen Heap and Final Fantasy, i loop beats and layer an odd assortment of instruments and vocals, as a way to present my songs in fuller and more varying forms. What sets me apart from these and other artists is the uniqueness of my voice as it sings poetic lyrics designed to move and inspire each and every listener...what also sets me apart is that i'm not afraid to express my dark side, which can often be noisy or moody, or....All i know is that when i perform now, i feel like i am not hiding or pretending. And success to me is seeing the people who listen and hear me, leave the show inspired to speak their own truth in their own way. And i'm inspired to keep on singing....
