Lyrics

Anyway

Written By: Jacques Belanger

Our shattered portrait under glass
is all that's left.
While echoed screaming makes me wish that i was deaf.
I can't run away,
My knees won't let me stand
You're a desert of emotion
Slowly slipping through my hands

Like sand
Like sand

Don't tell me to go
I won't ask you to stay.
Too tired to try to keep on fighting
Anyway
Don't pull me close,
I won't push you away
I'll go anywhere you want,
Except away.

Slam the apartment door
and jump into the car.
No idea where you're going
Just away from where you're are.
My blue eyes so full of tears,
I barely see.
The one that i can't run from
Is running out on me.

CHORUS

Six o'clock comes early
When love's playing hide-and-seek
The words i need to tell you
Are the words that i can't speak.

CHORUS
