Jacy Dawn

Jacy Dawn is a twenty-two-year old country singer. She has opened for performers such as Jamie O Neal, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Sara Evans, Keith Anderson, Martina McBride and The Wrights. In 2004, Jacy was invited to perform for 3 days at Nashville's famous "Tootsies Orchid Lounge.” Her back up band for the event included Patsy Cline's original guitarist, Loretta Lynn's drummer, and Martina McBride's steel guitarist. Ironically, Montgomery Gentry was in the audience and gave her tremendous accolades for her performance. She recently released her first single ”I’ll Move On." Jacy wrote the song for the mother of a Marine, Andrew Zabierek, who died in Iraq. The song is about the trials and tribulations of losing her son.

Jacy began performing in church and singing at local sporting and charity events. When she was sixteen, Jacy was recognized by local politicians, and was asked to perform for the Massachusetts Democratic Convention. She also performed at other political events including a performance of the National Anthem for President Bill Clinton and a televised performance for the Governor of Massachusetts' State of the State Address. Recently, she performed at the Manchester Mill City Festival where she sang for the Governor of New Hampshire.

One of Jacy's career highlights was performing on stage with Wynonna Judd at the North Shore Music Theatre. From there, she went on to open the New York International Music Festival at Madison Square Garden as part of the four-girl group "Angels Among Us". There, they performed their original song 'American as Apple Pie.” In late 2004, the Mayor of Lowell, Massachusetts presented Jacy with a key to the city for all of her accomplishments as a vocalist. Jacy continues to sing for charity events including the National Cancer Society and The Angel Flight Foundation and most recently the Andrew Zabierek Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
