A Southern Maryland bred singer/songwriter whose biggest influence is himself. That’s who Jaden is. Through self-teaching, the majority of his musical skills, he obtained a style of his own. This style, which he has dubbed Rhythm & Pop, is a combination of rhythmic drums accented with popular arrangements pulled from various genres. Complete with underlining feelings about his experiences in life. “I want every track I write to be somewhat of an autobiography,” he states, “I need to be honest with people. I want their respect and friendship.” The public got their first taste of his developed sound with his 2011 recording of Kings of Leon’s “Sex On Fire”, which has been well received by his audience. Broken down, “Sex On Fire” boasts an acoustic hip-hop drum pattern, rock-enthused guitars and pop oriented synths. His supporters received a second helping of his Rhythm & Pop with the soul-dance ready track “Feet On The Floor”, which features a sample from Grizzly Bear’s 2006 track “Easier”. The track, which has been written more or less as a testimony to not letting fear get in the way of you living the way you want to live, serves as an entry for Levi’s #MakeOurMark contest in conjunction with Soundcloud.com. Looking into the future, Jaden expects to release his personally long awaited debut in early 2014.
