"Jaee Bryant - Seasons Premiere"

Jaee Bryant is a 20-year-old rapper/producer out of Charleston, South Carolina who got his start five years ago producing beats for local artists until he realized that he had something to say. Now that he’s started he just can’t stop. This past December he dropped the album Stop Killin Us, a title that makes sense for a cat from Charleston. Then in February he came back with the Creation EP.
Today MASS APPEAL premieres “Seasons,” the first single off of his upcoming album BLOO, which is due for a Summer 2017 release. That’s three releases in just over six months. In his spare time, Jaee also runs a clothing line called RUIN and manages his independent label Never Say Ruin. (“I never ruin dreams or success,” the founder explains.)
Small wonder, then, that today’s premiere is all about the struggle of achieving one’s dreams as an independent artist. (The breezy track was produced by Chattanooga’s own Keem the Cipher who’s previously gotten it in with Isaiah Rashad.) “I chose to write this song because I want people to know that a lot of things change in the future,” says Bryant. “There will always be someone who is trying to bring you down. But there will always be a way to make it in this industry. I think a lot of ‘rappers’ just make it with no content and no motivation. Everyone wants to sound the same and wants to come in the industry with cars, clothes and jewelry. I’m not that guy. I just want to provide for my family, make great music, and let the fans enjoy.” So the least you can do is press play and enjoy the man’s song right now. - Rob Jenner

"Jaee Bryant - releasing new single "Dippin""

ocal hip-hop artist Jaee Bryant is set to release brand new single “Dippin’” here on Fri. Dec. 22, the one-year anniversary of the release of his first EP, Stop Killin’ Us, an album full of thoughts on racism, poverty, and headline news.

Off his new, as-yet-untitled project, “Dippin’” speaks to Bryant’s perspective on life and success following both the release of debut mixtape Bloo earlier this year and a serious car accident from back in the fall. Bryant says he could have lost his life in the wreck, but he’s recovering well now and has another project in the works for 2018, which will further reflect on the artist's 2017.

Bloo was praised by music outlets like Mass Appeal, which premiered the project and called Bryant the hardest working man in Charleston.

Bryant says that Bloo, an album on the ups and downs of making music running a clothing brand, and keeping up with daily classes, also reached No. 8 in the Hip-Hop charts on iTunes.

The artist plans to tour in the Spring of 2018 and will make the move from Charleston to Brooklyn, New York next year, too. Oh, and he’s also got a podcast in the works, which will debut Jan. 10, 2018, just a few weeks following the Spotify release of “Droppin’.” Don't forget to check back for that release here. In the meantime, you can listen to Bloo below - Kelly Rae Smith

"Jaee Bryant Premiere "Deep""

HipHopDX Premiere: Twenty-year-old rapper/producer Jaee Bryant has recruited the talents of super producer Wondagurl (Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna, SZA, Travis Scott) for his new track, “DEEP.”

The song serves as the second single from the Charleston, South Carolina native’s forthcoming album, BLOO. Throughout the track, Jaee touches on his aspirations as an MC and the seriousnesses he feels towards the art of lyricism.

“It’s deeper than rap for me,” Jaee tells HipHopDX. “‘DEEP’ is more about the culture of Hip Hop and taking it way back where rappers were battling each other, pushing each other to be better. I want to impact the world with being lyrical, and bringing back deeper content and poetry into my lyricism.” - HipHopDX

"Jaee Bryant - Deep [PREMIRE]"

Charleston’s Jaee Bryant shared the newest single off his upcoming album, BLOO. Produced by Toronto’s Wondagurl (Travis Scott, Jay Z, Kanye West), “DEEP” is Jaee’s rally cry for pushing hip hop culture forward. Set on an eerie beat, Jaee bodies the track with rhymes about his aspirations to make his mark through his lyricism and artistry and to inspire progression in hip hop. BLOO will be available September 22nd. - Keith McNeil

"Jaee Bryant - Stop Killing US EP [Music Review]"

SC native, Jaee Bryant, shows his perspective on racism, poverty and motivation on his recently released project Stop Killing Us ( Feat. KeemTheCipher). Debuting his new album, Jaee expresses his desire to prove himself different from anyone else in the south. His flow and production isolates him from many out now. Stop Killing Us (Feat. KeemTheCipher) really emphasizing the fact that he’s been on the grind.

Showing us what he’s made of on his track “P’s and Q’s [ The Behavior]” — pretty much stating that he watched over his shoulder with every move he made making sure that his next move wouldn’t be his last. “Blu Lights” speaks to the struggling teen in the hood always crossing paths with 5-0. Keeping it real that things aren’t fair for everyone. The track has a snippet from Destiny Child’s ” Independent Women Pt 1” incorporating the “Throw your hands up at me” lyrics as a mannerism we are forced to make when approached by officers of the law.

Being able to come up from the bottom is a meal best served warm. Jaee Bryant is definitely hungry and not scared to be out spoken about the current issues going on. Jaee is definitely someone to watch out for. Make sure to purchase ‘Stop Killing Us’ on iTunes! Below is a snippet of what you’re going to hear. - Ricky Rosorio
