JaeSwitch

Hello and thank you for viewing my EPK. The name JaeSwitch comes from two places, I'm named after my father (Jerry) so everyone in my family calls my Jae. Switch comes from my ability to switch styles/genres. I generally do Hip-Hop because it shows my vocal side. Outside of Hip-Hop I like to do rock, jazz, electronica, and movie soundtrack type music. I play piano, and I'm working on guitar and bass. I sing a little bit, especially if I'm working in the studio. I'm not much of a live singer yet, I'm still working on my voice. I have very few influences, they are J Dilla for hip hop, Talib Kweli for lyricism, Jon Brion for rock/jazz/movie soundtracks, Paul Hardcastle for jazz, and Danger Mouse for electronica. Overall, the main thing that my sound varies and can change to something different at any given time.
