"New Album Release from CAAMA Music: Jagit “9 to 5”"

Raw and edgy vocals combined with muscular guitar riffs and spectacular lyrics make this album a must have for all fans of the alternative rock genre. Hard hitting and relevant this album explores the intricacies of life, love and loss through the eyes of Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Australians. Jagit’s musical style could best be described as alternative rock combining elements of grunge, punk and a hip R&B groove to produce a new and unique sound.
Jagit have played extensive live gigs throughout Central Australia including support acts for the Letterstick Band. They have performed at the 2005 BASS IN THE DUST concert and a number of live broadcasts on CAAMA Radio including a concert for the CAAMA 25th Anniversary/NAIDOC Week Celebrations 2005 and the CAAMA Footy Show in Tennant Creek 2005 Jagit were nominated as finalists in NT Indigenous Music Awards in the Best Art Design and Best New and Emerging Artist categories in 2005.
