And then, there’s ‘Evilous Ways’ from whom? Achis Reggae favourite, big time chanter from out of Montserrat, Jah Marnyah (who immediately biggups Faya Wurks on his tune). Marnyah continues to burn out nasty and disgusting living people and does so with a bit of EDGE in his voice that definitely brings across the urgency of the message here. The next name here which I was delighted to see on board the Backstabber Riddim was the outstanding Jah Marnyah from out of Montserrat. I’ve made so many predictions on what Marnyah will become when his career hits the top flight and many more people begin to know his name and as long as he continues to drive up material such as his effort here, ‘Be Careful’, I’ll continue to feel justified in doing so. - Achis

Jah Marnyah is a truly BIG talent and to my ears he’s one who may already be developed as well.
Prior to linking with Faya Wurks, he also had a few big ‘works’ out also, including what is apparently his first big single and video, the very nice ‘Stormy Weathers’ (also available for purchase) and ‘Where is The Love’, over the BIG Golden Riddim from 2009.
And I could really keep going with outstanding releases from this fine young artist, such as what is apparently an older song that is currently in the process of BLOWING MY MIND, ‘The Anointed One’.So definitely keep an eye on Jah Marnyah (who looks A LOT like Lexxus), moving into the new year. - Achis

Bio
Hailing from a musical family, Jah Marnyah’s career as a respected vocalist, musician, songwriter and producer began in earnest when he left the idyllic Caribbean island of Montserrat for the UK following the volcanic eruptions of the mid-90s.
"I really started making music after I came to England, writing, producing,” he says. “I have this vibe, this passion for music, it’s in my blood. My uncle is a musician, one of the best steelpan musicians there is. He’s on my grandmother’s side. My uncle on my father’s side is also a musician, my cousin is a singer, so it’s all in the blood.”
"But I’m inspired by so many people,” he continues, “from reggae artists like Beres Hammond to Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, lots of different artists and all kinds of music, from jazz, to rap, to hip hop to reggae."
It’s these varied musical influences that have made Jah Marnyah such an in-demand artist, scoring acclaim and airplay with such tracks as Rasta Is Love, Anointed One, Musical Party, InI Nah and Stormy Weathers. With a back catalogue that includes over 30 singles with an array of acts/ producers and his breathtaking album 'A New Day', Jah Marnyah never ceases to amaze his listeners.
Jah Marnyah has performed at top UK & European festivals including Dour Festival, Rototom Sunsplash, Garance Festival, Reggae Geel plus many more, where he has toasted his Dub fans featuring on wellknown Sound Systems Blackboard Jungle, Lion Roots Sounds, Solomon Heritage, Aba Shanti and Iration Steppas. In addition to featuring with Vibronics DJ sets and top Reggae bands such as Dub Akom.
Being a versatile artist Jah Marnyah is not only a master of Dub but also an internationally respected Reggae Artist. His remarkable captivating performances are something not to be missed.
